My Favourite Tools for Lighting

Studio Light

I’ve been using these studio lights for years now and absolutel love how much they resemble window light.

Travel Light

Having a light that packs up nicely, fits in small corners and provides amply light in dark spaces is a real game changer.

Reflector

Reflectors are that extra step if you have a second pair of hands or another stand. Being able to bounce light back into shadows makes a huge difference.

My Favourite Camera Gear

Canon Rebel Camera

I started with the Canon Rebel Series – it was the perfect starting camera as I learned how to increase my skill and knowledge.

85mm Lens

Most cameras come with a kit lens of 18-55mm which is great, but having a little extra zoom can go a long way.

Camera/Phone Tripod

Tripods are fundamental to any photography whether phone or camera. Having a steady surface allows for brighter exposure when the light is dim.

Portable charger

You never know when you equipment is going to suddenly use more battery than expected or be without access to a plug. Having a back up power source brings peace of mind.

External Hard drive

I personally only work off external hard drives that way my computer stays free from excess files. The external also allows me to work on the files wirelessly because they are not just backed up to a cloud.

My Favourite Tools for Editing and Storage

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe is my go to for all things photo and video. I’ve been using their programs since 2010 and will continue to do so.

Sync.com

Sync is my favourite file back up storage. It is Canadian encrypted and I know my files are safe. I also love that they back up automaticaly even if I am not sitting at my computer.

Canva

Canva is perfect for design especially when starting out. There are so many templates to choose from if you’re not ready to fully design something yourself.

My Favourite Tools for Business and Organization

KIT

I am a huge fan of Kit for email marketing. It has given me so much freedom and brain power back through their automations and funnel options.

Google Workplace

I’ve been using Google Workspace for over a decade and absolutely love how I can use it seemlessly across any device.

Bluehost Webhosting

Bluehost has been the perfect spot for hosting my website, with no hidden fees or needing to pay to grow.
